TipSnip: Joining a fraternity is a great way to develop relationships with other college students, and become active on campus. Typically it is advised that male college students -rush- (attend meetings and try to get a bid from) several fraternities. The process involves attending one or more meetings and getting to know the current brothers in the fraternity to see if they seem like a good fit for that particular fraternity. It is very important for students to read between the lines at these rush meetings, see what group of guys you would like to hang out with on the weekends. A student should join a fraternity that seems to be the best fit and has members with similar likes and goals.
