Don't Be Broken by the Books!

TipSnip: College books are EXPENSIVE. Take this tip as just that, a tip. A lot of students find that they buy their books before classes start and then they don't even open the book. Use your own judgement and decide for yourself. It never hurts to wait until the 2nd week into class to get your books. Chances are someone has one you can share with for a week or two. Some find that they don't need to book for English Composition but desperately need it for an Engineering class. Also check the prices of all vendors before you buy! Renting is an excellent and cheap way to get your books. Try your University Bookstore but also check with Amazon or Chegg.com for your books.
